Everyone has a favourite social media app whether you admit to indulging in social media or not. Whether it be Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, and so on. They are all ways in which we connect to each other on a social level through the digital media world. My favourite by far has got to be Instagram. For me, seeing small snapshots of other people's lives has invoked a ton of inspiration in avenues I never thought I would explore, it has also invigorated me to try new things, and to find products, locations, and events I never would have known about otherwise. Also, it has also sparked the photographer in me to be more active on a daily basis which I love.
Below are just some of my favourite accounts from around the globe which inspire me on a daily basis.

Hannah, a beauty guru and founder of Beautified App and HBFit.com is my ultimate fit, healthy girl idol who keeps me motivated on a daily basis to enjoy life. Her pictures include traveling, exercising, food, beauty, and of course her signature nail art. It's impossible not to fall in love with her Instagram feed and her life!
Brendan, the other half to this power couple is a native Canadian who now lives in NY with Hannah. He DJ's internationally and his photos also include lots to do with travel and exercise, as well as some impeccable male fashion sense and tributes to his Canadian roots via way of his Muskoka bunker.

Emily Schuman's blog Cupcakes & Cashmere has been my go-to for lifestyle, fashion, food, & entertaining for the past few years. She lives in LA and regularly posts little snippets of her life which I always find are inspiring and remind me to appreciate the little things in life. Things as simple as going for ice cream, flowers at the farmer's market, or going out for a morning coffee and a pastry - one of my favourite pastimes.
Joy Wilson from Joy the Baker has a knack for cooking, baking, photography, and capturing images of her pet. All of which I absolutely love and am obsessed with myself. So, naturally I love her Instagram feed. A lot of her images are curated around what her most recent kitchen adventures involve (which always makes me drool over - the food and the photography), her travels on her book tours, and her cat which I can appreciate because I myself am guilty of filling my feed with pictures of Henry.
Erin Ireland is a food reporter for a local radio station, creator of the blog It's To Die For, founder of To Die For Fine Foods, and she's also a Vancouverite. Erin's feed consists of images in her kitchen where she creates some of the best looking and tasting good-for-you foods, snaps of her rescued Mexican dog Effie (again, I can appreciate), and some of the coolest spots around Vancouver. Her images are a great inspiration for me in the kitchen as well as exploring the beautiful city that I live in.
Miranda Hudson is the woman behind Hudsonny. Miranda is a Vancouver based creative director who has an eye for simplicity, use of space, and the beauty in high key shots. Her photos are all so beautiful, whether it's a shot of a lone coffee cup on a table, the inside of a store, a portrait of her son, or a snapshot of somewhere in the city. They all remind me of how much I love Vancouver, how much I appreciate photography and the use of negative space, as well as the simplicity in things. Her ability to take such amazing shots too using available light is something I have a lot of respect for.
